Network Hardware Upgrade
Network Engineers, working in tandem with the hardware vendor, have identified a number of router components which must be replaced in order to minimize the risk of unplanned customer disruptions. Engineers will be replacing those components during this maintenance window as a prerequisite to prevent an unplanned extension of the upcoming router firmware upgrade maintenance, which is scheduled for the following night.
The hardware which is being replaced has redundant counterparts, and we have designed the maintenance procedure such that it minimizes customer risk of impact. Due to the nature of the working being performed, there is a chance that customer servers may experience brief periods of degraded performance.
Clients using RMS Cloud (RMS8 via 2X Client) may notice some error or warning message boxes on their screen that mention database (or SQL) connection problems. If this does occur, simply close all of the message boxes and then close and re-open RMS to continue.
The maintenance is scheduled to occur during the following window. While the maintenance window is set for 4 hours, we expect any disruption to last no longer than 15 minutes.

Once this maintenance is completed customers will be able to continue using the affected services as normal. If any error messages appear on screen, please close and re-open the program. If the errors continue after the maintenance window has passed, please contact RMS Support.
