Symptoms

When attempting to connect to your 2X RMS Cloud the below error occurs;

Error: The client could not establish a connection to the remote computer.  The most likely causes for this error are;

  1. The servers are too busy to service your request
  2. The machine is not part of the farm

Resolution

Go to www.speedtest.net and run a scan. This will display your upload and download speed:

  1. If the Download result is less than 1.5 Mbps and upload speed is less than .25 Mbps:
    1. Contact your Internet Service Provider to see if you can upgrade your internet to a minimum of ADSL1, with a preference of ADSL2
  2. If the Download result is more than 1.5 Mbps and Upload is more than .25 Mbps:
    1. Please restart your internet Modem/Router
    2. Restart your computer
    3. If still unavailable, please call RMS Support or raise a Service Request online
