Adding Areas (Rooms) for Ultra Lite

Overview

This article will take you through the steps on how to add your Area/s into your RMS Ultra Lite system.

Feature

Areas are the physical bookable elements of your property; you may refer to areas as Rooms, Sites or Apartments.

Getting to the Setup Screen

From any screen within RMS9

Click once on Setup on the Navigation bar

Choose Categories/Areas from the list

Double click on the first category that you wish to add areas to

Go to the tab named 'Areas'

Click once on the button named 'Quick Add'

Adding your Areas (Rooms)

Under the Area column (left hand side), you will need to enter the area number or name for each area you wish to group under this category.

A GL Acc Code is not required to be entered.

Once you have entered the information select Save/Exit, if you have more areas to add than there are fields available on the screen simply choose Save/Next to add more.

You will now find the list of areas under the area tab.  The number in brackets beside name of this tab is the number of areas you have added into this category.

Select Save/Exit, repeating these steps for each category you have in your system.
