Below we have outlined the steps on how to change reservations in your system from Nightly Tariff to Total Tariff.
After completing this tutorial you will have fixed all reservations which had been created in your system marked as a nightly tariff creation instead of a total.
This should only be performed when all other users are out of RMS to ensure bookings are not created whilst you are implementing this fix.
Click once on Setup on the Navigation bar
Choose Accounting from the list
Choose Accounting Options from the sub list
Go to the Options tab along the top of the screen.
Under the heading Create theTariff (Rate) select User to Choose.
Then select Save/Exit.
Edit each reservation
NOTE: If the Tariff (Rate) has created onto the account you will first need to void this charge.
On the Right hand side in the Accounts column you will find a field named Create Total Tariff (Rate) - change this field to YES.
Save the reservation.
If you wish to recreate the Tariff (Rate), reopen the account and click once on the button Create Tariff.
Click once on Setup on the Navigation bar
Choose Accounting from the list
Choose Accounting Options from the sub list
Go to the Options tab along the top of the screen.
Under the heading Create theTariff (Rate) select Create Total Tariff (Rate).
Then select Save/Exit.
Other users may now log into RMS.
