This article will take you through the steps to activating and installing the RMS MFI Processor which is required when using the PABX Interface. This installation is only required for customers who choose to use RMS9 only.
We must now install the RMS MFI Processor available on the RMS Downloads Page.
To access the downloads page go to http://support.rms.com.au/support/ and log in using your RMS Client No and Password.
Once logged in you will find a button along the top of the page named 'Downloads', select this button.
Scroll down and locate the RMS Module named 'RMS MFI Processor (RMS9 only)' and select the download button.
Once the file has downloaded, choose to run the installation. Leave all default settings and simply choose 'Next' when prompted.
Copy the RMS Cloud MFI Processor shortcut icon from the below location
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\RMS
Into the below location (your startup menu)
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
Select Start > All Programs > Startup > RMS Cloud MFI Processor. If the below message appears, select 'Yes'
Select Setup (top menu) > Configuration
Enter the RMS Client No and RMS Webservice password (if you don't have the webservice password, please contact RMS Support)
Select List Properties and select the relevant property from the Property drop-down list once it populates
Under PABX Options tick the 'Update PABX file' option box
Enter the UNC (or local) path to the PABX Path folder where the output file needs to be written. If using the PABX Controller Output, the file will also be written to this location.
Select Save and then Exit.
